Josh Meader, a rising star of the new generation of modern jazz guitar, brings his trio to Finland this autumn! A first-class honors graduate from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Meader has become an essential reference point in the international guitar community thanks to his phrasing and melodic sensitivity. His artistic standing at the forefront of modern jazz guitarists has been further solidified by his recent high-profile collaboration with drum icon Virgil Donati.

Having released their debut album Tides of Time last year, the Josh Meader Trio acts as a bridge between the jazz tradition and the latest global trends, thanks to their wide stylistic range. The line-up is completed by two major names on the Australian jazz scene, both winners of the prestigious National Jazz Award: drummer Alex Hirlian and keyboardist Matt Thomson.
