Sello Hall welcomes the top names of Swedish jazz! Viktoria Tolstoy, a beloved Swedish singer, will perform with pianist Jacob Karlzon in a warm-hearted concert that resounds with trust built through long cooperation and nuanced swing.
Singer Viktoria Tolstoy and pianist Jacob Karlzon will perform their album, Who We Are, published in January. The duo’s cooperation of nearly 30 years can be heard in their music as a seamless dialogue in which mutual trust and experience, living in the moment and creativity meet in a unique way.
Who We Are deals with time, change and continuity: how the world changes and how music can travel with you, comforting and renewing you. Tolstoy’s warm, delicate and expressive vocals combine with Karlzon’s rich piano sounds. The musical experience is intimate, always new and surprising.
The concert will feature new music from the recently released album and familiar melodies from the duo's shared journey. The audience can look forward to a touching and nuanced evening with two master musicians.
