In 2026, 100 years have passed since the symbolic landing of jazz on Finnish shores with the ship Andania. This makes 2026 the historical anniversary year of Finnish jazz: Jazz Suomi 100. To celebrate, the Finnish Jazz Federation is organising a nationwide Jazz Suomi 100 concert tour suitable for the whole family on 3–17 November 2026.

To celebrate the Jazz Finland 100 anniversary year, the Finnish Jazz Federation together with percussionist and band leader Teppo Mäkynen has got together a supergroup for the tour to perform new arrangements of the pearls of Finnish jazz music. This group composed of different generations of musicians uses the sounds and rhythms of electronic music, rhythm 'n’ blues and rap in its expression, linking the history of Finnish jazz to modern times. Central to the concert will be the joy of making and experiencing music, bolstered by the band's energetic expression.

The route to the main entrance

The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
