Kivenlahti Midsummer: Skidit-disco

Come and celebrate Midsummer with the whole family and dance at Kivenlahti Beach! Skidit Disco is an ode to life, dancing and friendship. Expect great hits, playfulness and wild dancing for all ages.

For over ten years, Skidit Disco has made people dance everywhere, from ships and museums to fells and clubs. Tens of thousands of dancers, litres of juice and plenty of songs! A DJ and MC are always present, and from time to time special guests are invited to the party.

The number of participants is limited to approximately 200, so please arrive early.

Accessibility

• No accessible parking is available nearby. The nearest parking area is over 50 metres from the venue.
• A drop-off point for assisted transport is located at the end of Marinsatamantie.
• The pathway to the beach has a crushed stone or sand surface. It is flat and sufficiently wide.
• The route to the event area is accessible.
• The event takes place on a sandy beach.
• The nearest accessible toilet is located at the adjacent Marin hiekkakenttä. Some areas have soft sand.
• The route is easy to follow for visitors with visual impairments.
• Lighting is good throughout the area.
• Lighting helps identify surface shapes and potential obstacles.
• The event does not include flashing lights or strong visual effects.
• Music is played at a moderate volume, and the programme does not include loud noises or sudden sound or lighting effects.

The event is part of the Kivenlahti Midsummer and is organised by the Espoonlahti Cultural Project. The programme is produced by the Skidit collective.
