Grammy award-winning roots-rocker and children's music legend Dan Zanes with his wonderful jazz vocalist and music therapist wife Claudia Zanes will perform in Sello library in Espoo on their summer tour of Finland and Sweden! A warm-hearted afternoon full of acoustic family-friendly roots-folk and Haitian communal joy of life is in the air! Kids, godparents, grandmas and grandpas -come to jam together with the international superstars!

During his long career, Dan has become known as the front man of The Del Fuegos band, and even more so as a pioneer of modern American family music, touring around the world with the multicultural “Dan Zanes and the Friends”, and working with many top names such as Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Suzanne Vega, Sheryl Crown, Angelique Kidjo and Grateful Dead's Bob Weir. In addition to music, Dan is actively involved in various projects for equality and social justice.

Claudia has deep roots in the Haitian musical tradition, which gives rise to her wonderful ability to see music as a natural form of expression that belongs to everyone. This attitude makes the music flow through her freely and charmingly infectious, whether she is performing on large jazz festival stages around the world, or in hospitals or schools as a therapist.

The couple has been making music together since the day they met in 2016, dedicating themselves to connecting and empowering people around the world through music. Dan and Claudia also work for sensory-friendly music experiences. Children and adults with special needs are also especially welcome at the concerts.
