Kasvu ja oppiminen

In our early childhood music sessions, we learn well-known and newer songs. During the sessions, we play music, explore a variety of instruments and take part in musical games. It doesn’t matter if you have never played an instrument or sung before. We discover music and have fun together with your child. The baby music session lasts 30 minutes. Everyone is welcome to join regardless of language skills or musical background. The group is intended for children aged 3 months to 3 years. Participation is free of charge.

We recommend bringing your own blanket or non-slip socks, depending on the child’s age. Please only attend the session if you are feeling well.

The route to the main entrance

Construction work will affect access to the library. There is no parking in front of the building, and the area cannot be used for drop-off traffic. Estimated completion date: June 2026.
The nearest pick up and drop-off areas are at the intersection of Kauppamiehentie and Kaupinkalliontie, and at Tapionaukio, in front of Hotel Garden.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.

The main entrance

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.

The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The customer service point is on the same floor as this entrance.
