Come and discuss the amendment to the local detailed plan for Rahamänty with the planners on 8 September 2026 from 17:00 to 19:00. The planning walk takes place in the planning area and begins from the courtyard of the old Kungsgårdsskolan school at Hans Westerlundin tie 55.

Please dress for the weather, as the planning walk will be outdoors. We will meet you at the starting point, the courtyard of the old Kungsgårdsskolan school. During the planning walk, we will go around the planning area with the planners. Respond to the survey and influence the content of the guided planning walk for the Rahamänty plan(external link, opens in a new window), (in Finnish).

If you come to the event by car, you can park in the parking area of the old school.

What is this about?

As a result of the amendment to the local detailed plan for Rahamänty, a new day-care centre is planned for the area and the intended use of the old school building will be changed. Supplementary construction is also being planned for the area. Mainly business premises are planned for the northern parts of the plan amendment area, south of Kauklahdenväylä, and mainly housing construction for the area between Kurttilantie, Kurtinmalmi and Fransmanninkuja.

The participation and assessment scheme for the plan and the preparatory materials will be available for public review on the City of Espoo website from 24 August to 22 September 2026. Go to the plan’s website.
