Competitive athletics starting course

The group is intended for all new explorers in grades 3-6, who are interested in competitive athletics. The group trains once a week and you will get to know the techniques of running, jumping and throwing events, the most common exercises such as coordination and medicine ball throwing, and develop your basic fitness by running and various fitness circuits. We will also attend to the competitions organized by Espoon Tapiot in Kannusilta ja Leppävaara.

If you get excited you can continue to our other groups with more weekly sessions. We have year-round competitive coaching groups, hobby groups for all ages, and event specific groups especially for those interested in endurance running, race walking or throwing. The training group is also suitable as a versatile training period alongside another hobby, such as ball games, swimming, gymnastics.

Two first sessions are free tryouts.

We speak finnish, english and arabic if needed.
