“Don’t Wake Me” is a dreamlike bubble of longing that, through narrative melodies, carries the listener through different emotional states, united by brightness and hopefulness. In the concert, Aurora Visa explores different forms of groove, playfully navigating between tradition and contemporary musical aesthetics. The program features Visa’s original compositions, drawing influence from traditional Finnish folk music as well as modern kantele aesthetics.
