A joyful activity day at the library for local families

Welcome to celebrate Family Day at Entresse Library on Saturday 16.5. from 13:00 to 16:00.

At the library, you’ll have the chance to meet local organizations that support families with children and, of course, get to know other families with children.

The library will be full of activities with various workshops and programs, and at 1:00 PM, the Estradi stage will host the magic show "The Magic of Books"—featuring magic with books, music, and clowning; the whole world fits between the covers!

1:00–3:00 p.m. Move and Play – Capoeira for Kids / Children’s Section

The Naava Cultural Association is hosting a capoeira workshop for children, where kids can try capoeira, play music, and enjoy spending time together.  

1:00 PM MAGIC SHOW: The Magic of Books / Estradi

Get ready for magic with books, music, and clowning—the whole world fits between the book covers! 

1:00–2:00 PM Meet Espoo’s reading dogs

Nekku and Pätkis will be listening to the children read and waiting to be petted

2:00–3:30 p.m. Interactive workshop and coloring pages / Sininen huone

Familia ry. is organizing the workshop in collaboration with the Finland-Africa Society.  

2:00–3:30 p.m. Library’s “Craft a Poetry Card” literary arts workshop / Maker space

Who do you want to thank? In this literary arts workshop, you can write and craft a card. You can give the finished card as a gift to someone special—you can even thank yourself.

3:00 p.m. The Whole Me – Storytime with Familia ry. / Estradi

The Whole Me is a participatory children’s book created with young people from two cultures, which tells the story of the everyday lives of children from two cultures in an adventurous way.
