How has Finland’s security environment changed as global tensions rise and competition between the United States, Russia and China intensifies? Iso Omena Library will host Henri Vanhanen, an expert in foreign and security policy and a non-fiction author, who will shed light on the most topical themes in world politics.
During the event, Vanhanen will give an introduction based on his new book “Etulinjassa – Suomen turvallisuus epäjärjestyksen maailmassa” (Otava), co‑written with Member of the European Parliament Mika Aaltola. The book explores the present and future of security policy, how Finland must adapt to a changing world order, and what this requires from the country.
The evening includes an expert presentation as well as time for audience questions and discussion. Welcome to listen and take part in the conversation!
