Tallari, a folk music group that started its career at Kaustinen Festival, celebrates four decades of tradition, education, renewal and keeping the flame of Finnish roots music alive!

Tallari celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026. Their latest album titled Pelimannitalolla was released in summer 2024, and it once again takes the listeners to the world of virtuoso violin playing.

Tallari has been playing in its current composition since 2019. The new Tallari carries on, cherishing the legacy of their predecessors and bringing back the atmosphere of an old-time rustic dance with their joyful and rich approach.

Tallari:

  • Katri Haukilahti, violin, vocals, nyckelharpa
  • Sampo Korva, incl. harmonium, guitar, diatonic button accordion
  • Arto Järvelä, incl. violin, mandolin, esseharpa
  • Esko Järvelä, incl. violin, harmonium, tenor guitar

Duration ca. 1 h 30 min, incl. intermission
