Local Championships in Leppävaara

The Local Championships is a low-threshold competition event for elementary school-aged children where you get to run, jump and throw!

The events include sprinting, long jump, and ball throw. You’ll receive a result for each event, and by completing all three, you’ll earn a prize. Instructors on site will guide and encourage you during the events, so no previous experience in athletics is needed. The competitions start at 10:30, so it is important that you arrive no later than 10:00.

You can register for the event in advance on our website or on-site at the information desk. Before the competition begins, pick up your race number at the information desk. Participants will be divided into groups at the start of the competition. The events will be performed with your group under the guidance of an instructor, meaning that after your own performance, you’ll get to cheer on the others before moving on to the next event.

Before leaving the event remember to pick up your prize from the info!
