Music Institute Juvenalia

Juvenalia Music Institute presents Lasin läpi (Through the Glass) – Renaissance, baRococo, Romanticism, Realism, and Rautavaara, a multidisciplinary performance at Sellosali where music and dance travel together across eras. The production is jointly designed and realized by the Violin Academy Aura and Raija Lehmussaari’s Ballet School.

The stage will feature as many as 30 young artists. The dance section of the artistic whole is led by Pro Finlandia–awarded choreographer and teacher Raija Lehmussaari, while the musicians are coached by esteemed violinist and pedagogue Arja Yurtseven. The pianist for the evening is Sonja Fräki, and the performance will be hosted by the versatile cultural and social media influencer Tapio Viinikangas.
