Additional information
espoo.fiHey you, Espoo resident! How have you been treated when using services by the City of Espoo? How has interaction been with Espoo employees and what do you remembered about these encounters – either good or bad?
You can now share your opinions in a Voxit discussion open to all Espoo residents. The goal of the discussion is to determine residents’ experiences with services provided by the City of Espoo from the perspective of interaction.
Your experiences may concern encounters in schools, early childhood education and care, libraries, culture events, museums, sports facilities, youth facilities, residents’ events, employment services, service centres and customer service.
The views expressed by residents in the Voxit discussion will be used to develop resident encounters. Join us – your voice is important to us!
Participate in the Voxit discussion between 26 March and 21 April 2026 (external link, opens in a new window)(the link will open on 26 March 2026)
Voxit discussions are an easy and fun way to exert influence and make your voice heard in city development.
Who can participate? All Espoo residents.
How does it work? In the course of the discussion, you will vote anonymously on statements about the topic by selecting yes/no/skip. You can influence the discussion by adding new statements. The discussions are shaped as participants vote on the original and added statements and contribute their own ones. You should participate in the discussion multiple times so that all the statements added during the discussion are answered.
The Voxit participation platform is accessible and secure. All discussions conducted there are constructive and moderated. People with different native languages can participate in the discussion in their native language by using the translation button available on the page.
Why? Successful encounters and the experience of being heard improve inclusion and trust, which at best builds trust in society at large. Espoo surveys the quality of resident encounters by organising Voxit discussions for both residents and personnel. The results will be used to prepare encounter training for Espoo personnel, and they will be communicated to the city units to be used in the planning and development of services.
Want to know more? Espoo piloted the participation platform in the EsVoxit project co-funded by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. For more information on the Voxit participation platform, participating and discussions, please visit the project’s homepage.
