Alien Species at Tapiola Library 18.4. 14-15

Alien Species is a participatory performance where the artist performs as an alien species that has emerged in Finland as a result of climate change. You can observe the alien species and try to communicate with it if you want to. The performance examines facing otherness, the environment that is changing fast due to the climate crisis and asks how we really confront the unknown.

The route to the main entrance

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.

The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
