Kolmanteen polveen is a book about Jari’s life. Jari travels by train to an important moment, his own doctoral defense. During the trip, he looks back on his childhood, youth, and adulthood, and the people and events that have shaped him.

The book is written by Esa Esander, an emeritus professor living in Espoo. It is the second, independent part of his trilogy.

The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
