During this three-hour workshop, participants collaboratively create a complete brand for a sample company. The group works through each brand element together, developing practical and coherent solutions for all key areas. The workshop proceeds in a structured manner, with all elements created directly on a website platform, progressing step by step toward a publish-ready company website.
The company website created during the workshop will remain available for review on a password-protected site for training purposes.
Training content:
What is a Brand
- An overview of the concept of branding, the elements covered in the workshop, the tools used, and the overall approach
Background Research and Positioning
- Market and competitor analysis: what to review, what to consider, and how differentiation is achieved
Naming and Written Content
- Company name, slogan, value proposition, and key terminology
Core Elements of Visual Identity
- Logo design, color selection, and typography
Visual Materials
- Tools, defining a consistent and brand-appropriate visual style, and identifying content needs
Products and Services
- Structuring and presenting services or products, and the role of branding in supporting sales
Other Sector-Specific Considerations
- Trust, customers, communication channels and their objectives, and the consistent use of produced materials to support and strengthen the brand
At the end, we will have a website and first phase materials for our sample company to launch into the market. From here we can talk about other marketing channels, how to use the material from the site and keepo building a consistent and credible brand.
This training is held in English online in Teams and it is free-of-charge. No recording will be made of the training, but presentation material is delivered to participants afterwards by email.
Teams link will be sent a day before the training and again as a reminder a few minutes before the start. Sometimes emails from Business Helsinki can also end up in spam or Promotions folders, so it's a good idea to check those too.
