Hevimpi vappu at Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora on 1 May, 15:00–16:00 | Outdoor stage

Get ready for some loud May Day action at the Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora, as the kings of Jurassic heavy metal – Herra Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Muffi Puffi, Komppi Momppi and Riffi Raffi – take over the stage. Their colourful and energetic show will be full of rhythm and humour.

Hevisaurus, a band formed by four dinosaurs and a dragon, was created in 2009 out of the idea of making high-quality heavy metal for children and playful adults. Combining catchy melodies with educational themes and a cheerful attitude, the band’s music is suitable for different age groups.

The band’s debut album Jurahevin kuninkaat was released in 2009, and it soon rose to the top of the charts. Since then, the band has released several successful albums, including Räyh!, Soittakaa Juranoid! and Bändikouluun!. Their songs, like Viimeinen mammutti and Räyh!, enjoy great popularity among both children and parents.
