Spells and potions – a magical wordcraft workshop

Wednesday, March 25, at the Entresse Library in the Blue Room at 6:00–7:30 p.m.

A magic potion and spell workshop has appeared in the library!

Do you dare to come and try your hand at writing recipes for magic potions? What kind of magic will you create with your spells? Would you like to get rid of a problem or turn yourself into a cat with the help of a multi-drink potion? To do so, you will need fried leeches and powdered unicorn horns, among other ingredients. Come and try it out!

In the workshop, we will write and decorate spells and magic potion recipes with colored pens. The workshop will be held on Monday, March 23, at the Lippulaiva Library in Salong at 6:00–7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 25, at the Entresse Library in the Blue Room at 6:00–7:30 p.m.

This March, we invite you to dive into the world of fantasy! Espoo City Library will be hosting events as part of Magical Week organised by Helmet libraries from 23 to 29 March 2026.

The magic-filled events will take place at the Entresse, Lippulaiva, Iso Omena, Sello and Tapiola libraries. Come to the library in March to enjoy fantasy-themed workshops, performances, and book exhibitions. Make it a fun family outing.

The route to the main entrance

The 4 accessible parking spaces are located in a parking hall over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The parking hall has a lift, which can hold a wheelchair that is difficult to perceive; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.

The main entrance

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

In the facility

The customer service point is located on floor 3.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly.
The customer service point has a toilet marked as accessible on the same floor. The toilet door cannot be easily opened and closed.
