One of the most anticipated events of the year is coming again! Mark your calendars for the Children’s Museum Festival, Sat–Sun, 21–22 March, and join the fun!

This year, the festival is celebrated with a cheerful birthday theme, as Exhibition Centre WeeGee turns 20 and Museum Leikki 30 years. Happy birthday to us all!

Enjoy a weekend full of joyful experiences for the whole family: workshops, performances, music, and more. The full programme will be announced in February.

The festival takes place at Tapiola’s museums: in EMMA, KAMU Espoo City Museum and in the Museum of Play. Also featuring Espoon kuvis.

Free entry for children! For adults, the programme is included with museum tickets (0–20 €).

The route to the main entrance

The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
The passage has at least 4 steps with handrails on both sides.

The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
