Additional information
espoocine.fi(external link, opens in a new window)Espoo Ciné and Exhibition Centre WeeGee are joining forces to present an open-air screening in the WeeGee courtyard on Espoo Day, 29 August. Alongside WeeGee, Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is also celebrating an anniversary, marking 30 years since its release. The film will be screened as a 35mm film copy.
On this late-summer evening, audiences can wrap themselves not only in blankets but also in nostalgia, as the iconic soundtrack and the performances of the young Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio draw viewers into the classic love story set on the streets of Verona – a generational experience that still resonates deeply.
The exhibition centre is open until 10 pm – welcome to enjoy an evening at the museum! Restaurant Delicatessen WeeGee will also be open.
