The Finnish National Agency for Education’s special unit Jotpa (Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment) and the Ura Institute are organising a project for mothers receiving home care allowance. The aim is to offer them career guidance towards employment or studies. The service is free of charge and serves the public good. Kela and the research institute Labore are also involved in implementing the service. The underlying goal is to improve mothers’ position in the labour market.
