WeeGee’s Pride Week Family Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 7 June with soap bubbles, workshops, glitter, and music!

A more detailed schedule will be published closer to the event, but the programme will include Glitternisti’s glitter tattoo station, Ladycrone’s soap bubble show and balloon animals, two concerts by the children’s music band Leimu, as well as workshops at EMMA and KAMU. The programme will take place approximately between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. WeeGee’s museums are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it easy to enjoy a full day combining art and hands‑on activities for the whole family. Part of the programme is free of charge, and part is included in the museum admission fee.

Children’s Music Band Leimu

In this interactive concert for the whole family, we embark on an adventure in a hot air balloon, travelling around the world to discover different animals and their special skills. We marvel at the masters of the savannah, sneak through the jungle, and meet a polar bear at the North Pole… Hold on tight – the adventure awaits!

Leimu is a children’s music band made up of professionals in music education, who compose, write, and arrange their music themselves. Leimu’s music is suitable for the whole family, and their songs have also been featured on Pikku Kakkonen’s summer tour and super playlist.

At WeeGee’s concerts, Leimu performs as a trio of musicians.

The concert lasts approximately 30 minutes.
