Espoo Archipelago Day on 9 June 2026 – Come and enjoy outdoor activities and exercise!

Come to Iso Vasikkasaari to enjoy a fun day out, meet organisations and participate in light exercise if you wish. On Iso Vasikkasaari you can take part in exercise activities, bathe in the sauna, relax, hang out and get to know about the activities of various organisations and Espoo Sports and Exercise Services. The information tent will provide information on such as shared walks in summer, summery workouts and the Lähellä.fi online service. There are barbecue shelters on the island, so bring your own lunch. Coffee, buns and snacks are available from the Summer Café. Restaurant Gula Villan(external link, opens in a new window) will be open during the event.

During the event you can take a scheduled archipelago boat, explore the magnificent archipelago of Espoo, and meet local organisations and instructors of Espoo Sports and Exercise Services. Come and experience the unique archipelago of Espoo, or just enjoy nature and a maritime atmosphere!

The boat trip to Iso Vasikkasaari will be free of charge until 16:00. The boats start from the archipelago boat quays of Nokkala, Haukilahti and Suomenoja. Check the boat schedules. The programme of the day on Iso Vasikkasaari and brochures of Espoo Sports and Exercise Services will be handed out on the boats.
