Katri Kauppila’s two vibrant exhibitions, created using digital drawing techniques, are displayed thematically across two walls at Galleria Betoni.

'On the Trail of Animals' features six familiar plants found in the Finnish countryside. In the exhibition panels, the animals appear as simple figures. For the plant elements, she has utilized digital line art and gradients.

Scents of the Marsh depicts the blooming of the marsh marigold, the ripening of berries, and the life of marsh harriers in a peaceful marsh. In these paintings, she has utilized variations in opacity—that is, the coverage of color—as well as gradients.

Katri Kauppila has a background as a communications professional (YTM), and she also holds a vocational qualification in the audiovisual field. She specializes in creating illustrations featuring plants and animals.

The exhibition can be viewed at Galleria Betoni in the Entresse Library from April 26 to May 15, 2026. All works are available for purchase. The art exhibition can be seen during the library opening hours. Welcome!
