A kind of listening that takes us deeper than seeing, for eyes can be closed, but ears remain open to the world. In every moment of listening, an invisible thread binds us to one another and to the surrounding reality.
At a time when violence seeks to reduce human beings to numbers and geography, we emphasize another dimension of being: the possibility of hearing one another. This concert is not an answer, but an exercise in listening. It is a pause beside the voices that have grown faint amid the noise of narratives, analyses, and borders. Voices that do not shout, but vibrate quietly within us from far back in history.
Music here is not an ornament of sorrow nor a veil for wounds. It is a way of being present: a space where voices do not exclude one another but intertwine, where difference becomes resonance and conflict becomes dialogue. We gather to show that listening is not passivity. It is an ethical and compassionate act, an invitation to remain alongside voices that may not be easy to hear, yet are necessary.
Tonight, all are welcome, regardless of belief or worldview. For before all identities, we are beings who hear, and perhaps within this shared listening lies the possibility of a more humane future. This evening is a pause against forgetting. For the people of Iran, for the Kurds of Rojava, and for suffering that knows no borders.
