Join us for an unforgettable Africa Culture Celebration, a vibrant event dedicated to showcasing the richness, diversity, and beauty of African heritage in Finland and the Nordic region.

This historic celebration will proudly present, for the first time in Finland and the Nordics, a cultural display by the first coronated Queen Mother from Ghana living in Finland, Cecilia Naadensua Quarshie, known by her royal title Mputo Hemaa Nana Abena Enyimba II

Come and witness the living traditions and dignity of a coronated traditional leader, and experience African culture in its authentic form.

What to Expect:

  • A rare cultural appearance of a coronated Queen Mother
  • Insight into Ghanaian and broader African culture
  • Taste delicious African cuisine
  • Live African band performances from a Nigerian band
  • Live singing and cultural performances
  • Arts, crafts and cultural exhibitions
  • Art displays blending Nordic–Ghanaian cultural elements
  • A touch of Nordic culture woven into the celebration

Panel Discussions & Networking:

Be inspired by a panel discussion featuring successful African professionals, employees, and entrepreneurs, sharing insights, experiences, and opportunities.

Vendors & Exhibitors:

Vendors can secure exhibition and sales spaces from as low as 25€, offering a great opportunity to showcase products to a diverse audience.

This event serves as a cultural bridge celebrating African heritage while strengthening connection, understanding, and unity across Finland and the Nordic region.

In partnership with Kannusali, Ceci Educare Oy, and the Office of the Queen Mother.
