The Return of Ski Ballet – Outdoor Performance (daycares, preschool and grades 1–2)
The work’s incredible ski acrobatics and skillful winter juggling will make hearts beat faster deep inside those padded snowsuits. Warning – this performance may change your life and turn your straightforward skiing style into a delightful whirl of spins!
The piece is performed by two artists from the multidisciplinary group Säilättäret.
Duration approximately 20 minutes.
The performance is weather-dependent. Temperature limit –15 degrees. In colder weather, heavy rain or a snowstorm, the piece will be presented in an adapted version.
The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
There is a steep slope on the passage.

The main entrance

Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
