The Dragon’s Tale – January 21 at 9:30

In this atmospheric children’s performance, light art meets poetry and storytelling. During the story time, we journey back to the age and magic of dragons, explore the fire of emotions, and discover how fear can be overcome. The tale unfolds before the audience as magical lights, colors, and shadow images.

At the end of the performance, children will have the chance to try shadow theatre themselves in small groups.

The duration of the performance and workshop is approximately 40 minutes.

Recommended age: 3–5 years.

Maximum: 30 children.

Pre-registration via Webropol form in January.

The route to the main entrance

The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
There is a steep slope on the passage.
The passage has at least 4 steps.
The route has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.

The main entrance

The entrance is hard to perceive but illuminated
Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
