Saturday Workshop, February 28, 10 am–1 pm: The Enchantment of the Sea – Printmaking

Dive into the underwater world through the art of printmaking! We’ll draw images of sea creatures such as whales and jellyfish on foam plates and print them onto paper. In the Art House hall, you can immerse yourself in the magic of the underwater world with a video installation and soundscape!

Recommended age for the printmaking workshop: 5 years and up.

Children participate in the workshops together with an adult. The workshop operates on a non-stop basis.

Art instructor: Laura Lehmus.

No prior experience required.

The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.

Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
