Selma Lagerglöf / Patrik Drake:

Nils Holgersson and the Wild Geese

Nils is a mischievous boy who treats animals thoughtlessly. As punishment, a house gnome shrinks him into a tiny thumb-sized boy. When the farm’s tame goose Martin joins a flock of wild geese, Nils is unwillingly swept along on a long journey toward Lapland.

During their travels across Sweden, Nils and Martin become friends and share many adventures. Nils helps rescue a charming young goose named Featherlight and even manages to drive away Smirre the fox, who stalks the geese. In the end, he learns what kindness and caring truly mean – and is rewarded by being able to return to the world of humans.

For children aged 3 and up. Duration approx. 40 minutes.
