Children born in 2020 will start preschool in August 2026. Children born in 2019 will start school in the first grade.

The registration period for preschool and the first grade of basic education is 8.–20.1.2026.

We offer guidance to parents and guardians who need advice on the registration process.

We provide digital support and use telephone interpretation, if needed.
