Finnish Tango del norte is an ensemble that charms the audience with its musicality and grabs them with its humour. Starting out in 2011 with the music of Astor Piazzolla, Tango del norte is a diamond tango ensemble that has won awards in international competitions. For over a decade, the ensemble's performers have been taking lessons in tango from Argentina's top musicians. The result is a refined sound that elicits admiration and praise from the audience. In 2025, the ensemble released its third album Argentiinalaisittain.
The concert is built around Argentinean tango music. The repertoire includes both completely new arrangements and familiar Tango del Norte hits, including everything from traditional Argentinean and Finnish tango classics to the music of Astor Piazzolla.
Tango del norte:

- Sami Pirttilahti, bandoneon
