What is the labor market situation in Espoo, particularly from the perspective of highly educated people? Why is it difficult for young people, people over 50, and immigrants to find employment? What measures could the city or other organisations take to improve the employment situation?

Come and discuss the employment situation in Espoo with us on Tuesday, December 9, starting at 6 p.m. at the Entresse Library.

The event will be attended by Member of Parliament Inka Hopsu, Regional Coordinator Anu Kantola, Employment Director Hilla-Maaria Suomi, and Community Relations Manager Riikka Mykkänen. The event will be hosted by Marjo Hinkkala, member of the Espoo The Greens executive committee. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions on the topic.

The route to the main entrance

The 4 accessible parking spaces are located in a parking hall over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The parking hall has a lift, which can hold a wheelchair that is difficult to perceive; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
