Laulukudelmia is a children’s music project created by Hiski Pajuniemi of Oulu. Known for his Pentti Punkin Syntymäpäivät and Tunteellinen siili poetry concerts, children’s musician and songwriter Pajuniemi will not only be performing solo with his vocal chords, but also bring woodwinds and a synthesiser into the mix. With his loop, Pajuniemi magically conjures up multi-layered Song Tapestries from these musical threads, captivating children and adults alike.

Laulukudelmia’s debut album Äläpä hättäile was released in the late summer of 2024. Laulukudelmia won the New Artist of the Year award at the Children's Music Jellona Gala in 2024.

“The album and music convey an understanding of the everyday life of kids - and their parents, as well. The music is a variety of well-made, heartfelt songs, and fortunately includes a dash of everyday anarchy!” - Children's Music Jellona Gala judging panel on the New Artist of the year award
