Formed in 2024, the Finnish folk supergroup Ne Lintuizet consists of veteran songwriters Pekko Käppi, Laura Moisio, Kielo Kärkkäinen and Lauri Myllymäki. The quartet’s stunning vocal harmonies and organically flowing musical dialogue already charmed audiences during their debut tour last autumn.

Released on 16 May 2025, the band’s debut album Uusi huone exudes an intimate and warm atmosphere, with the group’s nuanced vocal work at its heart. The group draws deeply from the well of folk music, from the golden eras of folk rock across the Atlantic to local folk traditions.
