Lapland-Balkan band Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha has been riling up music fans and lovers of life since 2009. Its music is a diverse fusion of styles and traditions, with the main ingredient being the snappy rhythms of Balkan music and old Finnish hit music. Influences from such diverse places as Georgia, Turkey, the Middle East and Greece have been added to the band’s musical spice rack over the years.
