Kaiunsäde plays music written by Joose Ojala and Helena Taskila. The digital release of the group’s debut album Taival will be available on streaming services on 4 June 2025. Kaiunsäde’s expression is a melodic and lyrical style of composition, which blends the harmonies of jazz and easy listening music. The crowning touch is the pan flute played by Helena Taskila. Kaiunsäde’s music is repeatedly described as being cinematic. This is a great honour to the main composer of the band, Joose Ojala, who has been blind since birth and has only seen a handful of films.
- Helena Taskila, pan flute
- Joose Ojala, accordion
- Tuukka Ojala, piano
Duration approx. 1 h 20 min, incl. intermission
The event will be held in the atmospheric foyer of Sello Hall, which is furnished with café tables, sofas, and standing room at high tables. Seats are not reserved or numbered; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
