Irina rose to the top of the Finnish music scene with her debut album Vahva and has remained one of the country’s leading artists for two decades. In addition to her successful career as a singer–songwriter, Irina is well known to Finnish audiences as one of the soloists on the popular TV show Elämäni biisi, where she has performed since 2019. Over the course of her career, she has released nine studio albums, including her award-winning debut Vahva (winner of two Emma Awards) and the platinum-selling Älä riko kaavaa (2005) and Liiba laaba (2007).

In May 2025, Irina released her highly anticipated ninth studio album Kunnes aurinko nielaisee maan. The record features the singles Juhlat mulle, Tuhat turhaa tarinaa and Kun rauhoitun.
