Pop by the Meet the City event where local urban planners tell more about the Mäkkylänkuja plan and answer questions!

Meet the planners on 1st December from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Postipuun koulu school lobby. They will present the objectives of the plan being prepared as well as related planning materials and collect residents’ views. Welcome!

In the block area located by the intersection of Ring I and Mäkkylän puistotie, a plan amendment is supposed to enable the construction of wooden blocks of flats, a grocery shop and a multi-storeyed car park.

The event is organised by the City Planning Department. The event will be held in Finnish. You may ask questions and share your comments in English or Swedish.

The route to the main entrance

The accessible parking space is located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking space is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.

The main entrance

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
