FAMILIA RY: Join Familia for storytime sessions and creative fun for kids and families! We’ll dive into the world of our book Kokonainen Minä — a participatory, illustrated children’s story created together with intercultural and multilingual young people in Finland. Alongside the storytime, children can visit our temporary tattoo station, where they can choose playful tattoos inspired by the book’s characters and themes. Storytime takes place in Paja lounge, tattoos at the Stage.
EMMA – MUSEUM OF MODERN ART: Moment Sculpture Workshop at the Stage! Try your own artistic expression by creating a three-dimensional sculpture from everyday objects. In EMMA’s workshop, we compose surprising and ordinary items into striking arrangements by stacking and organizing.
SMALL FAMILY ASSOCIATION: Slogan: Take a photo with the big and little clown – and you might get a balloon dog or sword as a souvenir! Clowns are available in the children’s area.
OLARI PARISH: Decorating gingerbread is a fun and festive activity. Come decorate your own delicious cookies with icing and colorful toppings. The gingerbread workshop is held in the Paja at the Iso Omena Library.
ESPOON MOKULAT: We’ll be doing lovely face painting and hosting two bingo games during Family Day. Espoon Monikulttuuriset Lapset ry can be found near the Stage and Saturiutta.
ESPOO SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS: In our badge-making workshop, creativity spins freely! Come design your own image and press a sturdy button to take home. The badge workshop is located in the children’s area near Paja.
SUKKALUKKO: Sukkalukko is a children's music duo founded in 2023, featuring Susanna Volanto and Tomi Rajala. Susanna is known from children’s TV shows, and Tomi was long part of the kids’ band The Bätmäns. Their songs are full of joy and catchy melodies, inspired by everyday life in families — play, friends, feelings, and even socks! The lyrics explore themes like equality, tolerance, emotional skills, and friendship.
