EAT PREY LOVE - Laakko - Jäntti - Nieminen & working group

EAT PREY LOVE is a monstrous swamp. It is a fantastic terrain that can suck in and spit out unpredictable elements of performance, only to swallow them back into its depths. The performance is a multifaceted fabric that blurs the boundary between living and dying matter, revealing and obscuring the limits of humanity. The work premiered in 2024 at the live art venue Mad House Helsinki, where all performances were sold out.

EAT PREY LOVE is the third collaborative stage work of Tarleena Laakko, Julia Jäntti and Virpi Nieminen and the first performance in the Monstrous Performance Series (2023-2025). The next part of the series, SCREAM CRY EXORCISESCREAM CRY EXORCISE, has been selected for the 2026 program of Kiasma Theatre. The working group invites the audience to experience both parts of the performance series!
