The music of legendary group Dire Straits is brought to life by Alchemy, a tribute band of top musicians!

Formed in 2023, Tampere-based Alchemy draws its inspiration from its deep respect for the iconic sound of Dire Straits. All of Dire Straits’ greatest will be performed - authentically, faithfully and with unparalleled professional skill.

Tapio Ylinen (PULSE, 5th Season, Mortality), who was nominated for an Emma Award in 2021, is known as a versatile guitarist, composer and producer. Bassist Jukka Haavisto released his critically acclaimed debut album in 2022, and Juhani Valkama is a distinguished singer-songwriter with two solo albums under his belt. The band is also joined by veteran musicians Arttu Tuominen and Simo Haapala, whose musicianship combines the soulfulness and heat of rock.
