EA FC – Espoo Youth League provides an eight-week practice and competition experience for young footballers. Half of the meets include coaching and guidance, and the other half are youth league matches. The aims to give the kids the first steps towards competition and allow them to develop as e-sports athletes. External factors like sleep, nutrition, and exercise are a major part of the development of an e-sports athlete, and they will be a focus alongside their development as gamers.
The Espoo Esports Hobby Path Project offers free e-after-school sports activities for lower secondary school pupils. The hobby groups generally meet at schools, in the vicinity of schools, or online. The project models the Esports Hobby Path by offering young people short-term esports hobbies in autumn 2025 and spring 2026. Hobby groups will be organized between February 2 and April 30. The principles of a safer space are applied in the hobby groups.
