Swimming lessons for children who cannot swim. The swimming lessons are free of charge.
Entry level requirement: The child must be able to work in a group under the guidance of a swimming instructor and dare to enter the pool without a parent.
The child is the responsibility of an adult in the changing room and shower facilities, and the child will be escorted to the pool. Swimming instructors will meet you at the pool and are responsible for teaching and pool safety, otherwise the child is the responsibility of the guardian.
If the guardian has paid the entrance fee to the swimming pool, he or she can go swimming during the swimming school. Otherwise, the guardians will leave the pool area.
Goals: The aim is to increase the child’s confidence and readiness in the water and to provide basic swimming instruction tips.
Lessons take place in a small pool.
Each session lasts 30 minutes, and separate registration is required for each group.
Free admission to City of Espoo swimming pools for 7–17-year-olds between Monday 16 February and Friday 20 February 2026.
