Babykino is intended for parents/caregivers and babies.

The movies are selected from the adult collection but are rated suitable for all ages (S).

Babykino is free of charge and takes place in the VOX room at Iso Omena Library.

The movie audio is quieter than usual, and the room has dim lighting.

The space features various sofas and chairs, a water station, and a microwave. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks!

A baby care room is located near the library's children's section at the end of the Maternity and child health clinic

You can bring your own mat for the baby, such as a carrycot or car seat, where your baby can sleep during the movie.

Baby sounds won’t disturb the movie!

The route to the main entrance

The 5 accessible parking spaces are located in a parking hall under 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.

The parking hall has a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated and it uses movement-guiding surface material.

The main entrance

The entrance is located in a recess and is illuminated.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.

In the facility

The customer service point is located on floor 3.
