Children's Weekend: AEIOU: Paradises of the Future – An Interactive Performance on Belief in the Future*

Paradises of the Future is an ever-changing and visually striking performance that unfolds in the audience’s imagination through participatory play, imagination, and storytelling.

A paradise is an ideal living environment: beautiful, abundant, happy, and safe. Paradises of the Future is a space reserved for imagination, where children are invited to envision positive futures. Positive thinking about the future enhances children’s ability to face challenges and build the world ahead.

The route to the main entrance

The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.
There is a steep slope on the passage.
The passage has at least 4 steps.
The route has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.

The main entrance

The entrance is hard to perceive but illuminated
Aurora consists of three buildings surrounding a large, sloping yard: Meijeri, Taidetalo and Tilanhoitajantalo (office building).
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 steps.
The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The foyer is cramped.
