Pilli Pärttyli is going to a birthday party tomorrow. The night before, Pilli is twisting and turning in bed and can’t get to sleep. All of a sudden, three odd characters – Hepuli, Murmuli and Sumuli –appear from under Pilli's bed. All three of them have something to do with Pilli's excitement. Luckily, Nukku-Matti’s assistant Nukku-katti, who is responsible for supervising children’s sleep, is ready to help. All five understand that Pilli has to deal with the excitement before falling asleep.
