Tiisu’s energetic and captivating live performances have gained a large following over the years.

Tiisu originated in the early 2010s at Sibelius High School in Helsinki. Singer-songwriter Henrik Illikainen moved from Somero to the capital with a dream of forming a band. Bassist Väinö Karjalainen, drummer Riku Sonkkanen, guitarist Petteri Pulkkinen, and keyboardist Antti Vuorenmaa soon joined. "Tiisu was born — not through reason, but feeling. The band was built like Frankenstein’s monster: from parts that don’t belong together, but come alive when struck by lightning."

Counted among the most beloved bands of the new generation of Finnish rock, Luukas Oja is releasing their fourth album on February 6th. The band is known for their high-energy shows, catchy choruses, and impactful lyrics. Alongside wild revelry, the band tackles heavy themes fearlessly.
